1- Broadcom soars with continued demand for AI chips: The rising adoption of generative AI has been driving demand for companies such as Broadcom that provide chips and networking tools to support these intensive applications. Broadcom has said it will make the next generation of custom AI chips for "hyperscaler" clients.
2- What is an AI accelerator?: An AI accelerator, also known as an AI chip, deep learning processor or neural processing unit (NPU), is a hardware accelerator built to power AI. As AI technology expands, AI hardware is critical to processing the large amounts of data needed to run AI applications.

4- Samsung introduces new turnkey foundry service, advanced nodes for AI chips: Samsung unveiled an updated roadmap for its most advanced chip nodes meant for AI chips. The news comes as many companies who make custom chips prioritize AI hardware.
5- OpenAI to use Oracle’s chips for more AI compute: OpenAI and Microsoft are teaming up with Oracle to get more compute capacity to run ChatGPT. According to CEO Sam Altman, Oracle will ‘enable OpenAI to continue to scale.’
6- Businesses have high hopes for AI. Are their networks ready?: Business leaders have high expectations for 2024, thanks to the potential of AI. While 69% of businesses are preparing to use AI or already using it at scale, according to a survey by International Data Corporation, only a small number of those surveyed said their networks are ready to support AI. Yet, with the power of AI, investment in AI is a top priority among technology leaders.

1- LinkedIn expands its AI job-hunting features for Premium subscribers: LinkedIn Premium is rolling out new AI-powered features to help users find jobs, tailor their resumes, and get advice from AI chatbots. LinkedIn isn’t just using AI to help you find a job, it’s also piloting AI personas that you can have conversations with to learn more.
2- Luma AI’s Dream Machine expands access to generative AI video creation: Luma AI is introducing Dream Machine, a powerful new AI system that’s able to generate high-quality videos based on simple text prompts, paving the way for companies and other creators to produce new and original video content in a matter of minutes.
3- I just tried Midjourney's new 'Personalize' feature — here's the results: Midjourney made it easier to generate AI images the way you want them with a new ‘personalize’ feature. Before using Personalize creators work through an image ranking process, where you compare two Midjourney-generated pictures and pick your favorite, training your personalization algorithm.
4- Databricks debuts new data pipeline and business intelligence tools: Data software company, Databricks, debuted two new business tools, LakeFlow and AI/BI, that integrate generative AI for faster results. LakeFlow is designed to simplify the process of building data pipelines. AI/BI, in turn, is a business intelligence platform with a built-in artificial intelligence chatbot.
5- Amazon says it’ll spend $230 million on generative AI startups: Amazon says that it will commit up to $230 million to startups building generative AI-powered applications. The investment aims to position AWS as an attractive cloud infrastructure choice for startups developing generative AI models to power their products, apps and services.
6- Spotify announces an in-house creative agency, tests generative AI voiceover ads: Spotify announced it’s venturing further into the ad space with its first in-house creative agency and that the company will begin testing generative AI ads. Spotify is working on a new AI tool for advertisers: “Quick Audio,” which enables brands to create scripts and voiceovers using generative AI.
